Mirror sites are becomes very common across in India; I found people are very skeptical about project cost. They do not ever consider about why are sites in Indian market so cheap. They never ever care for original images of their business. For which they to hire professional photographer, so get it free, just Google it.
Every entrepreneur says, website is just a requirement, and in no way it affects my business. He feels value in website and proportional investment isn’t required.

i m working in sub-urban area of Mumbai, it is impossible to control, completely copied low quality content on all sites. They, business web owners are not ready to understand the importance of their websites. They are simply looking for a web address for the purpose of printing them in business cards. Only in cities where online users are high it works.
The only way to curb it is by entrepreneur’s participation, which is indeed not easy. Indian business owners are very careful about investments. Only web designing company’s owners’ understand the importance of investing on website.

I would like to say to leesa about mirror website. I contacted web designing companies in Mumbai and checked with their web design projects. It was very surprising the big corporate don’t care for their content and business owners, including me, are not aware of value of original content. Although there are good website content writers, but I m taking content developed originally by my daughter. And I got good results on blog which is my social effort.
I can say 90% websites are mirror, or syndicated. In Mumbai city hardly 3 % web owners know copyscape and care to originally have fresh content.

I m having a gift store, which offers service to my trusted clients over 8 years and have regular sales. I was, till now managing a free E-COMMERCE website with open cart. I thought of taking a website, last year with company in my street. I do my own marketing on facebook and twitter. We fix up a price at Rs 75,000/- and started working for designing. They did designing in 4 months for the home page. I was regretting, when they promised for complete project in 1 and a ½ month, only design is done in after so much of dragging. These designers either copy and paste or do what you say. Certainly they are not going to come up with their creative web interface.
Finally in next 60 days my site was completed with lots of errors which looked easy to do, to me and web developer. How are these developers working and submitting an application, without testing. Actually I realized to regret for going with them only for lesser cost. Had I gone with professional web designing company in Mumbai, certainly would be happy about it. It was a pathetic feeling to have such low quality company. Also to tell you, their own site was showing under construction. I don not understand how are these companies running?

There are 2 aspects that you have to take acre, 1 is you have to be very clear with page design and functions navigation. Most of the web designers copy web page designs from some internet source and show it to you. It would be better to sit with the designer and developer to engage them on your requirement from very beginning. Once the home page design is done go for all landing pages and display windows if any.
So if you follow this style of working you can be sure of getting the work done. I m a php developer and do projects. Till now there did not come any such situation.

Well I also faced similar problem from web Development Company located in Mumbai. But later on I came to know it is lack of our understanding and to be frank, we our self intend to look for lesser cost developer, which is not a practical thought. What kind of interface we need we come up after work starts and not before we sign a contract thinking all thinks to be obvious which is not the actual situation. I have very well understood it in 3 years time after hurting myself.
I will say do your home well and be very precise of your designs before you sign. All designers and developers without exception be charge if something comes up after work is done or product specifications are signed.

Everyone has a different outlook of seeing things and considering them in their lives. Apart from mirror sites, people do not even know exact working hours a website development puts in doing design and development work. I never see people asking for criterion for project costing. Many companies in Mumbai charge 10 times the actual cost of the project from other cities. Time has come for some form of universalize in costing.
People should pay for the kind of work done and not for the other unwanted expenses the company does.

This again comes to investing more, which is why mirror websites float. With so many blogs running and people posting minute details of a conflicting business idea or ongoing problem in it. One cannot think of doing a website just by taking few of their category based similar site and thinking of doing something similar to it.
Why I m writing this is because people are doing it. When I go for website development project discussion, I find this stuff already there with best of the businesses they do. My experience with common web owners behavior is that they are not willing to give you time to give your reviews. Once you do it, at least I do it, certainly I m on the verge of losing this web design project.
It looks like you see the wrong that happens and you can’t do anything except seeing it. The one who shows customers low cost and says I will take care of all with high quality designs for no additional cost wins a project. Sounds bad, but is true, not to say I too get projects in this fashion.

I found many designers who work as free lancers, are very risky to work, because within the time when your project is not completed, I mean fully tested , it requires 3 to 6 months after completion, when you start getting errors. So this time the designer might have just vanished away with some new opportunity. It is not that they are intending to do so, but business sites require constant support from any web development company. Nothing is one time. Everything needs to be innovative on navigation and results of any application. So it is not possible for any company that is at initial level, simply because they lack a balance which is part1, client constant requirement, 2nd is a specialist in that area of implementation.

We should make sure whom our content is targeting towards. Our audience holds real importance. Some think that high quality content just means a well-written piece. However, that might not be the case! Our content should be very engaging. I think the focus should be on giving value to our audience rather than the pitch for your product or service. And yes i completely agree that mirror sites are of cipher importance. A replica of an already existing site would of course be such a waste. We would have to wait for renewed content. Just for lesser investment the quality should not be compromised.

Engaging content can be of 2 types:
Engaging using normal users and engaging expert. Normal users Engagement is a bit easy, whereas expert engagement requires reputation of the website to have them there.
Or one has to be creative enough to built content, that new as a business solutions, or any other kind of solution or ideas that are new , as such. Writing repetitive ideas which are already shared can cnot gain engagements to the extant they have on original blog.

Good to see people discussing about web design and low quality work. But Indian business people are all fancied by Rs 5000/- for complete website. It can be said as virtual piracy, in my views. Why I use this term is because what can be the different between actual software or a film and its pirated version, is also reflected in the cost of its pirated version. Similar is the co-relation between Rs 5000/- pirated website. I don’t know why this is not understood by many website owners lured by low quality web design pirated services.
Next I would like to speak on company’s back ground that implements website designing and development. These companies themselves are as illiterate as the person who does pirated software selling business. I m only co-relating this is to make my views clear about the origin of the problem. The not quality website development companies are on rise to further tap the market by generating low quality websites. They take only 1 hour for a 10 page website including everything. So you can understand what involvement these companies can give. I m sure the owners of these website designing firms might not have gone through Complete WMT( web master tool) interface.

I could see you have a good insight of present web designing company’s ongoing trends. I spoke to many prospective web designing clients in depth about it. These low qualities are intentionally fed by these business owners. They are happy and satisfied because all happening with low cost, which is what their prime concern, taken care of. Although there are ways to detect people who are ready to go with superior quality work, but the difficulties is that they often encounter wrong website consultant.
It is never easy in Mumbai market to get decision maker incorporated with ability to understand, or more clear, having time to understand what is what? They rely on staff which is generally not having ability to access bridging between requirement, vision and implementation.

Great to see, people giving some very important aspects of website designing companies, which are required but lacked by many top web designing, marketing companies. I would say, these companies more focus on marketing and getting projects. They indeed are not qualified technically to run such businesses, but this is common with many other businesses in software. Website seems to simply, which it actually isn’t if taken on Google’s guidelines
But many, don’t follow them, because to them web designs are free resource and just few editing. Actually are budding because they are not filtered by customers and not involved in consultation is top companies.

i m giving my views on reviews and spam. As this post speaks on web designing companies in Mumbai reviews. i understand much of the on reviewing but discussion and web page quality. I was interacting my web designing company in Mumbai and found some of their testtimonials lacking web page quality as content and technical implementation too.
The days are turning out to be more for reviews because everyone who is before purchasing going with the reviews so here there are two types one is advantages by getting positive review but when it is negative review which is done for spamming will be damaging the image so there should be a website owner should be online so that they can track the spam post and remove it. It is easy to understand the review is done by a spammer when we have an immense knowledge on the subject. When the website i.e. developed by a best listed web designing company then with the help of the company we can design a website which is spam free by using advanced way to track the spammer.
So start finding web Development Company which can build a website with is spam free.
Basically, we find two types of spammers mostly like one spammers who tries to promote their link by which they will be getting the rank and traffic too but in case of some they just drop the link apart from counting something this will be very typical thing to get digested and other one will be costly people try to get traffic from the website to their website by commenting soothing they will be going some traffic which can be divers the traffic. I read his comment, which speaks of reviews and spam. But web designing company’s reviews, which the blog is about, don’t look to be correlating. I was going through the web designing companies in Mumbai on Google and appreciate this blog for detecting the overall low quality work going on even with top brands. Poor content planning looks very clear with them. I do not understand as what makes them not focusing, at least in 2015, on content, where unique content makes web authority.
It clearly shows that high quality content totally lacking the punch of big brands, which just look at routine content.

I do painting business, I m a painter. I approached web designing company in Mumbai city. Naming the company would not be correct, because that is not the only company; there are other companies too, in the similar category. They work at 20% of cost that top listed web designing companies in Mumbai on Google search. My web development was done open word press open source, which is free, which I came to know later. Big problem, my paintings were not uploading???
Due to high resolution, I spoke to them they say it is image problem. Site has hanging, initially I said I would upload 1000 paintings, from my network. Or even more. It was their fault for not taking correct input. Horrible experience.

I got a website designed by web Development Company in Mumbai for my clients car washing records and web admin and SMS alerts. The site is mobile friendly, but has low page speed. Images are consuming the page weight. I approved the design, but had little knowledge about any technical aspect. My complaint with them is they did some content development and I lost the ranking which I naturally had. Piece of content is the same and url is the same. I understand that it is due to some other reasons. But this company says ranking on Google is not easy to implement and suggested to go with paid Ads , rather.

You cannot correlate rank and design. You can relate rank and content. Website design is something that makes your users happy to view and easy to use.
Web designing process taken by a company might some time take your ranking if you are taking like 1 year time to complete it and keep your site without any marketing and social activity. We are web consultant and web designer to 7 cooperators without having a formal company and work on complete Google’s web master tool quality guide lines.

We are looking for web designing company in Mumbai. We read your content and found very similar trends with web development companies in Mumbai. Basically our business is about accountancy and I m a CA(Charted Accountant). Our present website is outdated, made in2010. It looks web designing companies are not openly coming up to share their marketing strategy and just say they will rank on keywords in Google. But I read on Google’s website that they should share exactly what they will do. But to my surprise they are pretending as if it is trade secret, which in fact doesn’t exist.
I m looking for suggestion on ways to select website designing company in Mumbai which is transparent and highly qualified to be working on world class marketing.

Good though on reviewing web designing and development companies in Mumbai for work quality. I m also very unsatisfied with whomsoever we assign project they do not bring transparency to quality implementation. Problem is they are not able to put a simple document as to what they will do and web designing and content aspect. What is point of thinking it as a trade secret, which is what they feel in spite of the fact that their projects are lacking quality?
I m talking about quality and on about visual effects or to say web page design, color and images combination because they are good at it. Excuse me for my bad English, but it is like any other segment that finding a web designer is easy but finding a web solution is becoming difficult.

Yes, I agree, because we are surveying with all business men how are looking for web designing services. Our survey results show the similar trend you are depicting for web designing company in Mumbai city. the reason for my targeting Mumbai city is because I stay here and more importantly, even I had not stayed here, I would have still targeted Mumbai for being most engaging business city in India.
Web designers in Mumbai actually are not that component compared to world class web designers that is true. Although there are few entrepreneurs who are of that status, but are expensive when compared to low quality web designing companies in Mumbai. One more fact I would like to bring is they are not expensive on a global scale. People compared it on Indian currency scale.

I have a website which is about packaging and transporting services in Mumbai. I did not do much research on selecting a web designing company in Mumbai. Rather immediately after I started my business, I checked with a company in my office in bandra. They have good clients across there in and around. They were marketing offline more with SMS. My business is getting leads more from Google, I took it granted they will rank my website on Google.
Once done with it, which looked fine to me I was actually happy with their work. After 3 months I asked them about ranking on Google, very astonished to listen that it is not possible for them, being from the web development industry. I still do not understand why are they refusing to take such projects?

Looking at web designing companies in Mumbai based on their projects would not be right. I own website designing and development service firm in Mumbai and read blog getting reasonable engagements. I do agree that lots of company fall sort of quality providers, this is because they look website as just a business entity and visiting card based. They never want to or even care of website as business tool. In fact website is some time a business tool some time an informative internet display. Essentially it would not be right to give your projects to companies that do not have ability to execute business websites. Not that I m intending to mislead, but certainly the user doesn’t know what to what extend may not be right or wrong.
So play safe with experts of business websites.

Lots of discussion on web designing company in Mumbai!!!
But this trend is even worst in other cities of India. What if the site has original content, it is not a mirror website but still lacks quality. All websites cannot have high quality content; although there is no doubt that content quality should be taken care off. There are possibilities that one business is very sophisticated in all his services and maintains high quality in all his services, but doesn’t care for online marketing due to its branding already well known. Such business does not need to show or prove anything through their website. Only companies that are more dependent of web based information or services are required to have such quality content.

We have recently designed a website from web designing company in Mumbai worli. I m not happy after final design and content got live with negative feedback from my well wishers. But technically we cannot blame web designer or web designing company. All work was done on our approvals at all stages. I take blame on myself for not being aware of these facts before gave them work. But I will say that this company gave me low quality designs, from which I selected. Had I involved myself and gave them reference designs I could have succeed in getting better quality website.
PLEASE SUGGEST ME HOW TO PLAN FOR A BUSINESS WEBSITE?

Planning a website requires first level of understanding of what internet can contribute to your business
1. Business
2. Branding
3. OR Both
4. OR NON
We can talk more 1, 2 and 3. But there should be sense in what we do. For example your business does have users searching for similar business keywords or your brand on net, and then you have to make a call. Generally every business does need some kind of internet activity. Always remember you have to engage yourself about how all web pages looks like for content and images. Post all original images with alt tag appropriately inserted.

Well i have dealt with some 7 web designing companies in Mumbai. There is no doubt about your involving in project at all stages. You cannot get what you want unless you are precise about it. So it is otherwise get yourself educated and educate others, including web development companies in Mumbai. It is not easy for you to implement things due to fast changing user’s behavior about it. In most instances you will find owner of these web firms are not in access to you, due to heavy work and marketing burden. They work on ongoing projects and do not much look for interacting with off line community.

Still when you are running business, you need to build your base customers and spread a word all the time about the services. Successful companies do employ someone to give consulting services on behalf of company’s owner. There should be a balance between what inputs are essential for web consultation and to gather required inputs to finally submit an output report.

I make a note of it, now many companies are clear with content writing and suggesting original content and even suggesting clients to check with copyscape website for any copied results. But you know what’s wrong is copyscape showing wrong results.
1. You take a content and wordpress it and then copyscape it, it will show no results found
2. Still every chance that content might be not a original one, as business owners still have to rely on web design firms.
3. Most important thing today is I find many sites having poor page speed inspite of being mobile friendly.

It can best that you write, do not trust a writer, somehow there are every chance of being copied. Page speed is a problem with 90% sites including their own site of web designing firm. I don’t know why people are not focusing on it.

We are a group of web designers, working as 4 friends and learned web designing in Mumbai city. we did check the copyscape tool, it works some time and many time it shows wrong results. The reason might be your pages are not indexed by Google. To show a result with better accuracy, Google should index that url.

I would like to bring the discussion on social business pages done correctly. We manage website designing services in Mumbai city. But I checked with clients who had revamping plans for their website. Many sites do not have business pages designed as per guidelines by social site guide lines. Just an example, web owners say they didn’t know or like blaming a web development company for it. So these factors are to be implemented perfectly for better social branding.
